Boundaries. Something the habitual therapy-goers know all too well.
Boundaries are distinct and specific to an individual.
Balance is vague and general.
Boundaries can change over time.
Balance is rigid, forever just balancing.
With working from home, work and home are increasingly blurred. Whether it’s turning off notifications on the weekend or shutting off your phone after 7 p.m., boundaries can help you take back some headspace and feel more in control of your wellness.
So, I'm adopting a new method of thought sharing, which I'm calling Blurb It Out. For each Blurb, I'll give myself 15 to 30 minutes to collect and write down my thoughts about a career-oriented topic — it's the perfect example of a work-life boundary.
About Blurb It Out: In a world where our attention is measured in 60-second TikToks or 280 characters, I’m striving to share more of my thoughts in a shorter fashion, or a blurb.
